BUTTON Show!
We have a fun art show scheduled for the fall in celebration of our 4 year anniversary!
Here’s the details….
Right-Brained studio will be working with Busy Beaver Button Company for this event….that’s right, a BUTTON SHOW!
All youth artists who have taken classes, workshops, open studio times and/or private lessons anytime during the past 4 years are eligible to participate.
All participants may submit one 4″x6″ size work of art, either black and white or full color. The images with be scanned and formatted for each button (please be aware that the image will be re-sized and may be cropped to fit a 1″ diameter button). Any medium is acceptable.
The participation fee is $30 per artist. Included in this fee is 50 buttons for the artist to keep (1 will go to the studio for the show) as well as the scanning and set up fee.
*The deadline for submissions has been extended to Monday, November 14th! You may drop off the art at anytime, by putting it in the mail slot through the front door of the studio. Please label the art with parent’s/guardian’s name, young artist’s name and age, phone number and email and place it in an envelope along with your payment. Also, please confirm your participation through e-mail. It is important that you follow these guidelines in order to help keep the ordering process with Busy Beaver Buttons manageable.
The BUTTON SHOW opening reception date will be announced soon and will take place sometime in September or October. Artists need not be present at the opening, you will still receive the buttons.
