Right-Brained Studio presents “Art in the Air!” a group art show featuring the work of youth artists who participated in classes, workshops and privates lessons during the following sessions: Summer 2010, Fall 2010 Session 1 and 2, Winter 2011 Session 1 and 2 and Spring 2011.

We have a 2-day Open House Artists Reception for this year’s annual spring youth art show!

The opening reception(s) will take place at Right-Brained Studio on Friday May 20^th from 6-8pm and Saturday May 21^st from 3-5pm.

Please contact the studio to request submission guidelines for participation.

Teen artists from Right-Brained Studio will be participating in the “Now You See It, Now You Don’t” mural show in the historic Flat Iron Building in Wicker Park.  This will be our 2nd mural at this annual event!   These artists will also have individual pieces of art available for sale.

Students from the Self Gallery art program at WSMS taught by Right-Brained Studio owner Kelly D. Pelka, enjoyed an artists’ reception  on Friday December 10th.  Youth artists along with their families viewed the art, participated in a collaborative comic strip with the guidance of youth art mentor Mindy Fisher and enjoyed some sweet treats.  We even had a visit from Mr. Bruce!  Thanks to all who were in attendance.

Advance Reservations Required at least 2 days prior to studio visit.  Payments can be made the day of attendance.

Dates: Monday-Friday 12/20-12/30

Times: 10-11:30am, 12-1:30pm and/or 2-3:30pm

Tuition: $8 for per 1 hr. 1/2 session

All young artists under the age of 14, must be accompanied by an adult.
