Tamara is a writer/editor by day and a passionate crocheter by night. She picked up the hook briefly as a kid and reignited her skills as an adult, advancing her abilities with each scarf and stuffed toy that she made. She decided to take crochet to greater heights after being inspired by images of yarn-based street art (known as yarn bombing). She organized a yarn bomb in her own community to the positive response of many. She loves the idea that fiber craft can not only be personal and functional but public and decorative. Crochet can be used to delight and inspire, and Tamara is thrilled to teach this very versatile art to budding new lifelong crocheters.
